​SERVING OPPORTUNITIES

Morning and Afternoon options available!

The Love Mason Plus Planning Team has worked to provide both in-person opportunities and, if needed, ways you and your family can serve from the comfort of your home. ​Since there are more than 35 total serving options available, we invite you to take time to review all pages and available options prior to signups opening on March 6. 

All opportunities are first-come, first-serve. Many options have limited participants - so if your initial choice is full, please choose another serving option. Both morning (9:00AM-12:00PM) and afternoon (1:00PM-4:00PM) serving opportunities will be available. Signups for in-person serving options will be open from March 6 to March 20. After March 20, people can sign up for From Home Serving Options until April 24. We are encouraging every person who calls Hope home to sign up for at least one opportunity.

Clean Community Garden

Gym Renovation Cleaning

Clean, remove, and carry leftover debris from a recently renovated gym (two floors of materials). The gym renovation is scheduled to be completed on April 18. Should there be any delays that affect this serving option, participants would be notified.

HHM Wash Windows and Weed Flower Beds

Wash the windows of the Hope House Men's Shelter on both the inside and outside. No special skills required, but some volunteers may need to climb on a ladder. Weed flower beds and make ready for summer.

HHM Women's Shelter Clean Yard and Mulch

Clean up yard to make it ready for summer; move dirt in garden boxes to area being mulched; mulch area around fence; cut up dead limbs and discard; weed existing flower beds; discard items in outside shed.

PWC Minor Home Repair

Perform minor home repairs and services for low-income homeowners including painting, landscaping, light carpentry, minor electrical, plumbing. Specific project details and location will be finalized at beginning of April. May be split into 2 teams. Special Skills Needed: Painting, Electrical, Plumbing, Landscaping

Social Distance-SING!

Groups of 5-10 people go to the homes of "shut-ins", sing 2-3 songs or a bible reading, and pray with the person/family. The congregation can submit names of people to visit. May be split into 2 teams.

Honor Our Police and Fire Departments

Organization: Mason, Lebanon, and Deerfield Police and Fire Departments
Time: 9:00AM–12:00PM | Location: Mason, Lebanon, or Deerfield | Minimum Age: Any | Maximum Participants: 4 to 8 each option

Providing healthy pre-packaged snacks and drinks - things that could go in a backpack for a long shift. Each serving option will need 4 to 8 volunteers who will communicate in advance and organize and split the costs of providing the healthy snacks and drinks. Each location would serve 10-25 staff. Including notes of appreciation would be welcomed as well! Due to limited participants, if one option is full, please choose another option.

Love Mason Plus Photography/Video Team

​Time: 9:00AM–12:00PM OR 1:00-4:00PM | Location: 3-4 Serving Options | Minimum Age: 16+ | Maximum Participants: 6

Visit 3-4 assigned serving options in the morning or afternoon and take both photos and video using a camera. A tips page will be shared for capturing moments throughout the day. Submit video to LMP Photo Coordinator within 3 days of Love Mason Plus for creation of LMP Recap video.
